The Kings Head in Lichfield is a warm, welcoming and dog friendly city pub.

 

Whether it's good beer, great food or live entertainment you're after you'll be glad you came.

 

We have a wide selection of beers, cask ales, wines and spirits for you to choose from, as well as a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

 

We offer best value meals at two for £12 and on a Sunday our carvery offers a choice of fresh roasts, Yorkshire puddings and fresh vegetables.

Our Story

The Kings Head is a traditional, historic pub set in the very heart of the city. Dating back to the 15th century, it is the oldest coaching inn in Lichfield and was the birthplace of the Staffordshire Regiment, now the Mercian Regiment.

 

Offering home cooked traditional foods, real cask ales, lagers, crispy whites, velvety reds, soft and sweet pink wines and prosecco.

The pub also provides a very wide variety of live entertainment and is known as a music hub in Lichfield including folk music, sea shanties, jazz, open mic events together with live bands. Please see our Facebook page for current details.

 

We have an on-site function room available, just call and ask, or drop in and soak up the olde worlde atmosphere. Food available all week 12noon-4pm. Cold bar snacks and hot beverages also available during opening hours.
